Orphans, special person take part in different activities

PESHAWAR: In order to encourage the orphans and special persons in education institutions, an event was held for orphans’ children in a private school in Peshawar to get them involved in co-curricular activities.
In this regard, various activities and programs were designed for orphans’ students of The City School in Peshawar to provide an opportunity to take part in such health activities. Students took part in arts, painting, stories and other competitions with full zeal and enthusiasm.
Principal of the school, Naima Walter in her talks on the occasion said that general all students should be provided such opportunities and specifically orphans who need extra care and opportunities to get them engaged. She was of the view that the school will also organize such events in future to ensure participation of children in co-curricular activities.
Vice headmaster Saima Khalid, teachers Shazia Rehman, Dur-e-Nayab, Mrs Tanveer and others were also in attendance on the occasion.
Later, copies, biscuits, milks, juice and other food items were distributed among students.
